You don't come very often, but when you do...

Anyway, enough of my memories of things old girlfriends have said to me -- I'm glad to see you and Frankie have arranged walks that pivot of the right balance for both of you. I thoroughly enjoy country walks.

A few months ago me and Trina tramped across the rock-strewn car park surrounding The Patten Arms, a distance of about twenty feet, bravely kicking away stones of up to an inch in diameter, hampered by a faint drizzle, or Trina's plosive consonants, I couldn't quite tell.

Anyway it's a pleasure as always Jonathan. You always post something delightful just as I'm thinking "I'll scratch that lazy bastard off my blogroll."

Jonathan

Ha! Given what I know of your well-documented views on the practice of hiking Looby, I suspect that the task of negotiating a 'Third Way' excursion that me, you and Frankie could all sign up to might prove a totter along the crevice/ through the pub carpark too far (although I imagine at least two us of could see our way clear to the pints of Purple Moose Ale).

And I know- not here often enough, at all! I do have tremendously good intentions to do something about that as it pains me to see Crinklybee so sparsely updated, but let's not make any rash promises... in the meantime, thank you for your continuing comment box loyalty- if I ever fell off your blogroll it would feel like the online equivalent of plunging into hell's crevice, ie not an ideal day out at all...

Jonathan

... oh- and link to Frankie's astonishingly technically accomplished YouTube account of the day- now added. A recommended view!

Super, a most professional video. A future in epic mountaineering films beckons I'm sure!
